So better late than never...happy New Year, everyone!
We had a marvelous Christmas catching up with family and watching Mae play. It's hard to believe that she's old enough to "get it" but she really did enjoy every minute of our whirlwind holiday.
Sweet little girl had one Christmas wish: a lollipop. I mean, be still my heart.
Then that week or so between Christmas and New Years hit us and we all three got sick. Not the stay in bed and feel pitiful type of sick, but still not good enough to go out on the town. So I decided to reorganize. Everything. Even my sewing room. And then my reorganizing became redecorating, which turned into painting, then reupholstering, then building a craft table. Soooo, here's what I've been working with lately:
Uninspiring to say the least. But in a week or two it will be COMPLETELY finished and I cannot wait to share with y'all the new and improved sewing room. It's totally awesome and I actually want to spend time in there. Which is great because that's where I'm at, day in and day out. But how amazing is it that I can do something that I love, that is creative, and that makes people smile, all while I listen to my baby snore (because she totally does, like a truck driver) one room away? Pretty dang amazing.
